Jackie is currently completing her fourth year of an Honours BA in Media, Information, and Technoculture (MIT) at the University of Western Ontario. Jackie will be pursuing an MA in Media Studies or an LLB with an emphasis on Intellectual Property after completing her MIT degree.

As a Canadian citizen who spent several years living abroad in both Australia and China, Jackie developed a keen sense of observation, a natural off-shoot of being “the other” in a foreign landscape. It is this skill that best helps her as a Research Assistant to Jacquie Burkell, allowing her to assume an unidentified role as she lurks the blogosphere in order to understand the dimensions of privacy.
